Yeah. It didn't get any better. I'm home now and if I'm lucky, I can avoid most of them until Christmas. Now, where's the vodka?

I'm thankful I had to work, thus giving me a perfect excuse to arrive late and leave early. Sorry you had a bad one. At least it's over. I hope your Friday is better.

Jen and I have this private joke. Have you seen Home for the Holidays? It's about Thanksgiving, and it's this insane disfunctional family and there's a scene where there's an actual fight on the lawn and the father is like, "Deck the halls. I can't wait til goddamn Christmas."

So pretty much every Thanksgiving, one of us will text the other when our families are being particiularly obnoxious and the message will say "Deck the halls."

I cannot roll my eyes hard enough at Thanksgiving. Why was I so excited to not be working? (I AM working Christmas and New Year's. I'm okay with this.)
