I bought my first Christmas present today! This is unbelievably early for me, but lately I've really been in the holiday spirit. I've already started listening to that station that every city seems to have that starts playing Christmas music 24/7 earlier and earlier every year. I wasn't shopping for myself today, but I found a lot of great gift ideas that I wanted to share. And the awesome thing about these gifts is you can buy them all online!
This is the gift I purchased today. I wanted to buy it last year, but by the time I was aware of it they were sold out both online and in the stores. This year I planned ahead and bought early. It comes with eight fragrence samples and a gift certificate redeemable for the full-size scent of his choice. Plus, they're doing free shipping on orders of $50 or more today (usually you have to spend $75). I bought the Scent Sampler for Women for myself last year and I loved it!
They have a new translation of Tolstoy's epic that is supposed to be infinitely more readable. I've struggled to get through this before, but I think with the new version I'll be up to the challenge. I love Anna Karenina and I know I'll love this, too.
Tarte Mini Cheekstain Gift Set
I love Tarte's cheekstains and bought their gift set from last Christmas. This year's set comes in a cute compact with a mirror inside. Wow, I buy a lot of gifts for myself, don't I? I'm pretty sure I justified all of those self-bought gifts last year because my husband didn't buy me anything.
How cool is that? I love it! They have an Onyx Monopoly Set, too.
The Secret Files of Nancy Drew
I read a ton of the Nancy Drew mysteries when I was a girl and now they've come out with this neat journal filled with facts about her first thirteen mysteries. The book has fold outs and lots of neat little extras.
Another cute book with hidden surprises tucked inside. It includes condensed versions of some of the most famous Greek myths. I think this would be a good gift for my son. He might be a bit young, but I think he would enjoy hearing the stories and the exploring the little extras.
I know, I know. How can I want something from an infomercial? I can't help it, I just do! My blender died over a year ago and I think this would be the perfect replacement.
The perfect (if a bit pricey) gift for any Harry Potter lover's on your list.
If you haven't tried the GoSmile products than this is a neat little introduction to an amazing line. I love all of the GoSmile products I've tried so far, especially the teeth whitening system for which they are best known.
My old sunglasses are badly scratched and damaged. I think these would make a perfect stocking stuffer.
Bare Escentuals Classic Rock Collection
I love Bare Escentuals! And this is a great collection with some fun, festive make-up for the holidays. I know this because I already bought it for myself last month. Whoops!
