What is your "role" in your family?
Baa, baa.
What indulgence always makes your grocery list?
My mother would claim my entire list would qualify as "indulgences".
And that's why I'm poor.
If you could go back and change one thing you've done in your life, what would it be?

Oh, no. We're not going to play this game. Not now, not ever.
What is your favorite quote and why?
All happy families are alike; each unhappy family is unhappy in its own way. - Tolstoy
It's the opening line to Anna Karenina, a literary character I identify with far too much.
Especially when you consider that she ends up under a train at the end.
Heh.
List three things you'd buy with your last $20. One practical, one frivolous and one of your choosing.
Um... Do I have to spend the $20 on three things? That's going to be tough.
Practical: toilet paper
Frivolous: grande latte from Starbucks
Bonus: an almond vanilla cupcake from Cakelove

I could just buy four cosmopolitans at Friday's happy hour, eat some free shrimp and pocket the $5 that would be left over after tipping the bartender. That works, too.
Are you watching the Super Bowl today? Who are you watching it with, and which team do you want to win?
Yes, I watched the Super Bowl today. It's usually the only football game I watch all season if the Ravens aren't in the playoffs. I was rooting for the Giants and managed to miss each time they scored.
I was late for the party and missed their first field goal.
I was taking my son to the "potty" during their first touch down.
And I left the party with 1:39 left to play in the game, so I missed their winning touchdown, too.
Sigh.
What's the best book you read this year?
I have no idea. Isn't that terrible? I know I've read this year. But why can't I remember what I've read? The last Harry Potter and Nanny Diaries come to mind. I'm in the middle of The Three Musketeers. Could those really be the only three books I've read all year?
ETA: According to the blog, I also read Good Omens. Also, why is the default comment option nobody? That's annoying.
List five reasons (at least) why you are awesome.
